New: Roy's Bistro

My officemates and I has just recently tried for the first time dining in Roy's Bistro, located in Tirso Neri St., Brgy 9, Cagayan de Oro or better known as dvsoria, the heart of the city.

"Bistro is a small restaurant serving moderately priced simple meals in a modest setting." Indeed, it is a small restaurant but with great ambiance and interior is functional surrounded with their featured food.

The food we ordered were:
1. Chopsuey - php 89

2. Beef Tapa - php 79

3. Pork ampalaya - php 49

4. Fish Tinola - php 119

5. Fish and tofu steak - php 169

6. Fresh fruits - php 59

Well, the favorite for Filipinos --- rice at Php 15. Regular iced tea is price at 24 pesos.

I recommend pork ampalaya! Not only its affordable, you'll surely love the taste with the crunchiness of half-cooked ampalaya (a secret to not taste the bitterness of ampalaya).

The proprietor for this restaurant is Myra Yabut. The taste should be preserved as this business goes a long way up.
