COWD Advisory: Low Pressure to NO water on May 5 to 6, 2018

COWD ADVISORY
May 3, 2018

Please be informed that the Cagayan de Oro Bulk Water, Inc. (COBI) will shut down operations from Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 8:00 P.M. to Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 6:00 A.M. (10 hours).  This is to facilitate installation of a booster pump at their infiltration gallery.  This will enable COBI to increase their delivery to the west service area from 40mld to 60mld on or before May 15, 2018.

Low pressure to no water is expected in the following areas:

NO WATER:
·Lumbia
·Masterson Avenue including DSWD, DepEd
and Sarmiento Area
·Bellevue Subd.
·DUHAI
·DUSAI
·Dagong
·Dumpsite
·Sacred Heart
·Palm Springs Subd.

LOW PRESSURE:
·Calaanan
·Pagatpat
·Scions, Canitoan
·Gokingville
·Terry Hills
·Apovel Subd.
·Patag
·From Bulua to Opol

COWD is advising all concessionaires in the said area to store enough water for their consumption during the 10-hour interruption period.

We hope the affected customers will be advised accordingly by this announcement.

Special Traffic Scheme at Masterson-Vamenta Junction


Advisory: NO LEFT TURN towards Vamenta Blvd from Masterson Avenue for vehicles coming from uptown during peak hours (6AM-9AM; 5PM-8PM) Monday to Friday.





SPECIAL TRAFFIC SCHEME AT MASTERSON-VAMENTA JUNCTION, STARTING MARCH 6, 2018 FROM 6:00AM to 9:00AM, and 5:00PM to 8:00PM, MONDAY thru FRIDAY.
1.      TEMPORARY NO LEFT TURN
a) All vehicles going downhill passing along Masterson Avenue are temporarily prohibited to turn left towards Vamenta Blvd., but instead to proceed directly at Rodelsa Circle prior proceeding to their respective destinations;
b) All vehicles going to Rodelsa Circle passing along Vamenta Blvd. are temporarily prohibited to turn left towards Masterson Avenue, but instead to turn right at Masterson Avenue and make a U-turn beneath the Macanhan flyover prior proceeding to their respective destinations.
2.       TEMPORARY REROUTING OF MOTORELA
a) All Motorelas passing along Mariano Velez St.-Macanhan are temporarily prohibited to turn right towards Masterson Avenue, but instead they are allowed to turn left towards Concordio Diel St. and proceed to their destinations;
b) All Motorelas may take also the newly develop road of Macanhan connecting to Acacia St., then from Acasia St., turn left Everlasting St. and pass across the Vamenta Blvd. and proceed to their destinations.
3.      UPHILL BOUND VEHICLES
All uphill bound vehicles are advised to proceed towards Masterson Avenue from Rodelsa Circle area, including those vehicles that turns right from Vamenta Blvd. towards Masterson.
4.      TEMPORARY DESIGNATED UNLOADING ZONE
All vehicles, especially the PUJs passing along Masterson Avenue going downhill are allowed to drop their passengers at the designated portion, right side away the intersection of Masterson-Vamenta junction.
