The race versus Rotavirus

The enemy is Rotavirus which causes 4000 deaths worldwide in means of diarrhea related diseases for children aged 5 years and below. This enemy is fatal but can be defeated thru an early vaccine.

In the Vaccines Congress 2013 held last January 27 and 28 in Cagayan de Oro City, Doctors and individuals who advocate for the race versus Rotavirus group together to discuss best practices and share insights on how to defeat the dreaded diseases. This is represented by marathon coach master Rio dela Cruz to race against this fatal disease.

This vaccine has been recommended by WHO's SAGE to be part in all immunization programs. Health centers all over the country should take part in this race. Maybe the government could shoulder part of the expenses to make it affordable to everyone especially those who needed them the most and in secluded area.

The White Hat in Centrio Mall

The owner was inspired by the success of frozen yoghurt in the US. They wanted to open a branch here in the Philippines but was decline because the company is yet to expand and make a name of their own yet.

So the founder of white hat made this an inspiration and created a version if their own. It took them one year to do product research and the search for local suppliers.

The White Hat made sure that the milk is in UHT (Ultra Heat Treated) standard. That means that the shelf life of the milk can preserved at a longer time. For them its six months.

So why Italian? This is because the source supply is from Italy - a combination of italian ingredients and Filipino.

The White Hat not only offers yogurt but they a variety of products from blended to waffles. They have waffle yogurt and soon be introducing a Yogurt Cake - a very first in the Philippines. They also aimed to provide consumers a healthy products.

The store is the very first in Cagayan de Oro City and 2nd in Mindanao.

The White Hat Yogurt developed the taste of yogurt for Filipino taste buds - A bit sweet and a sourness.

-------

After the store blessing at the white hat, we proceeded to the store blessing of Bettina. The same franchise owner of the white hat. Bettina is a clothing line store located at the second floor of Centrio Mall.

Condominium in Cebu City - near Mactan and in Lahug

My sister in Cebu is looking for a rent to own but she specifically look for a house and lot. Maybe condo units can be good for her as she works on graveyard and that her safety is a primary importance.

This is also my goal in the near future. I want to own a condo as an investment. I could have it rented and would served as a vacation home away from the stress at work. Cebu is a good place to start which is surrounded by neighboring cities with a good natured scenes perfect for a blissful vacation.

Robinson's Land has two residences in Cebu that I'm interested in one is in Mactan which you can rent to own or in Lahug.

This fits in my dream book:

1. AMISA, a piece of Paradise - This is a project of Robinsons Luxuria under Robinsons Land Corporation. Amisa is at Punta Engano, Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan Island, Cebu City near the Mactan Cebu International Airport. A 10 minute drive  from the airport and 30 minute drive from Cebu City. I am interested in a studio type condominium which is enough for me at 40sq.m. - 45sq.m unit area. 2 bedroom unit is a luxury for me that is at 64sq.m - 83 sq.m unit area.

2. AZALEA Place, ideal for business and leisure - This is a project of Robinsons Luxuria under Robinsons Land Corporation. The first residential condominium to rise in thus bustling street. Across University of the Philippines and minutes away from Cebu Business Park and Asiatown I.T. Park, shopping centers, restaurants, schools, and government institutions. I am aiming for a 1 Bedroom unit that is at 30-35 sqm unit area. Studio is too small and 2 Bedroom unit is too wide at 24-29sqm and 43-61sqm respectively.

Which is which?

Additional information for me to really get confused on what to choose from:

Amisa's amenities:
  • clubhouse
  • indoor gym/fitness center
  • swimming pool
  • children's pool
  • videoke room
  • game room
  • mini-theater
  • biking/jogging path
  • multi-purpose court
  • picnic area
  • pavilion
  • playground
Azalea's indoor and outdoor amenities
    indoor amenities
  • library/wi-fi lounge
  • indoor game room
  • audio-visual room
  • function room
  • conference room
  • business center
  • fitness center/gym
    outdoor amenities
  • swimming pool
  • spa pool
  • Japanese-inspired gazebo
  • reading nooks
