Like No Other Tonkatsu Experience

Wait till you try Tonkatsu by Terazawa...

Indeed! Once you tried Tonkatsu by Terazawa it is like no other. Why?

Here's why:
1. They serve tasty, tender pork cutlets fried to perfection
2. It matches well with picked vegetables
3. The meal has shredded cabbage which helps clense the taste buds and provides a balanced diet. It is best mix with house blended salad dressing or the Tonkatsu sauce
4. With miso soup, a sweet/salty Japanese staple food that are effective in detoxifying and eliminating bad elements
5. The last but not the least, unlimited rice, the all time favorite of every Filipino or any Asian for that matter

The Tonkatsu by Terazawa is already a set with a complete meal.

Iberico Katsu, made with the finest black Iberico pork or "Pata Negra". These Iberian pigs are special breed found in the south and southwest areas of Spain. These European wild boar are fed on barley and maize weeks after weaning. They eat acorns, thyme, rosemary and mushroom which makes them the "healthiest pigs" with 50% unsaturated fats like that of olive oil hence referred by Doctors as the "walking olive trees".

Kurobuta Katsu, the angus of pork, is juicy and rich in flavor from the meat's excellent marbling. The meat is of optimum quality and lush in flavor with its own inherent and distinctive sweetness that are perfectly paired with a variety of meat sauces.

New: Roy's Bistro

My officemates and I has just recently tried for the first time dining in Roy's Bistro, located in Tirso Neri St., Brgy 9, Cagayan de Oro or better known as dvsoria, the heart of the city.

"Bistro is a small restaurant serving moderately priced simple meals in a modest setting." Indeed, it is a small restaurant but with great ambiance and interior is functional surrounded with their featured food.

The food we ordered were:
1. Chopsuey - php 89

2. Beef Tapa - php 79

3. Pork ampalaya - php 49

4. Fish Tinola - php 119

5. Fish and tofu steak - php 169

6. Fresh fruits - php 59

Well, the favorite for Filipinos --- rice at Php 15. Regular iced tea is price at 24 pesos.

I recommend pork ampalaya! Not only its affordable, you'll surely love the taste with the crunchiness of half-cooked ampalaya (a secret to not taste the bitterness of ampalaya).

The proprietor for this restaurant is Myra Yabut. The taste should be preserved as this business goes a long way up.
